In the early 1920's the Record Cigarette Company of London issued a unique set of cigarette cards that could be played on a gramophone. the cards were 70mm square and known as 'Talkies'. They had record grooves on one side and a description on the other and various variety entertainers of the day narrated short amusing pieces.

The company only seemed to have produced one set of 25 cards. Today, of course, they are highly collectible, and can be seen for sale on one American site for $150 per card.
