Question for the cricket boys.
« on: May 28, 2015, 03:49:54 PM »
Postcards I'm afraid, but wondering if any of you had come across, 'The Excelsior Pictorial Post Card Budget' published by AC Cricket Rhymester?
I've got the booklet containing 4 postcards, each featuring pictures of three of the Sussex players.
Sorry, won't let me upload any pictures, as the files are too big.
Thank you.

Just found this post - a good get if the Postcards are still mounted in the folder - they are often sold singly and when the serrations are removed show little, if any reference to their origins...

It was produced c 1905 & there are two folders - one with the Australians from 1905 and one with the English from around the same time...

Cheers

Cheers for the reply Steve.  Yes they are still in the booklet, although the first card, which includes a certain, K S Ranjitsinhji, is only holding on by a couple of perforations.
