Thanks Chris - I've got the hotel booked and I'll be there on the Friday afternoon to sit and review the wants list and get my strategy sorted for the Saturday morning
Looking forward this year! Got some lovely stuff last time and had a good catch up with a few people I literally only see once a year.

It's exactly 1 month tomorrow until Kings Lynn! Who else is going from the forum this year?
So far I make it just me and exdrummer but surely there'll be more of us there?

Hi Sam, yes just a month to go. Let's hope some of the regulars on here will be coming, surely an event that should not be missed!

Hi all, myself and my good lady wife will be making the long journey up from Bournemouth. We will most likely be bringing Mike Hughes with us, and possibly at least one other from the Hants and Dorset branch, maybe more. Also, I think Chris Pozetti from our branch will be dealing there. Looking forward to this one, never been anywhere near to Kings Lynn in my life! Presumably there may be some dealers attending that we wouldn't see much of way down south?!

Their are several very good hotels in Kings Lynn
If you don't mind paying a bit more try Dukes Head or the Bank House - both excellent.
Somewhere cheaper try Travelodge or Premier Inn.
The venue is excellent, very large and well lit and I understand the food is good and varied.
The centre is a 15 minute walk from the town centre and a ?5 taxi ride from the station.
I will see if I can get a list of dealers attending.

I am in 'The Globe' (a Wetherspoons hotel?!) in the middle of the town so I am keen to see what it's like. Good reviews though.
Wants list is about ready now so I'm looking forward!

Nothing to do with the convention but - This site will not allow me to post a new topic. It comes up with I have to login, when I am already logged in. Its been that way for ages now. I logged 4 times with the same result

Hi, click on Forum, scroll down and click on general cigarette card collecting discussion and then on the black new topic button and you will be able to start a new thread. The big red button has not been working for some time now, I have reported it at least twice!
