FCCM 2018
« on: May 15, 2018, 09:44:18 AM »
Anybody had their copy yet?
I contacted Garry a week or so ago but have had no response.
I know that this used to come out around about February initially but in recent years it seems to have dropped further and further back. It was 5th May last year.

Have I missed mine this year?

Am I right in saying it's going to be the last catalogue he produces?

Whoa!
Didn't know that, Alan.
I've known for a while that Garry's heart is no longer in it, but if this is the case then it will be interesting to see who - if anybody - takes up the gauntlet.
Garry must have rather a lot of stock to shift...

What is FCCM? Are you referring to the Murrys catalogue if so, Paul Lynch is doing it and it was for sale at the convention.
Always looking for interesting cards and associated goods issued by Ogden's you can see samples of cards I am looking for in the wants section.

It's the FOOTBALL CARD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE by Garry Daynes. A huge catalogue of all the football cards and stickers he has for sale. The first 12-20 pages is a sort of magazine. The whole things is A$ size and nearly half an inch thick.

I hope I renewed my subs?!  ;)

Shame if the FCCM is coming to an end though. I suppose eBay has taken over for nearly everyone now? Not many dealers around produce catalogues, if there are any? FCCM adds that little bit more with the articles it produces in the first 10/20 pages.

There isn't much left regarding Brentford FC that I 'need' but it's still good to flick through. :)

My situation also with Shakers? cards, but if there?s anywhere I?m going to find something, it?s going to be in FCCM.
